Hello, friends! I hope you had a lovely Valentine’s Day. I know we did. My kids had parties at school, and for dinner, we had mini heart make-your-own pizzas. Madeline and John had a blast decorating pizzas with pepperoni, cheese, and veggies.
This weekend the fun continues! On Saturday night, we have a cousin sleepover with my husband’s father and step-family. And, Sunday, the kids are having a sleepover with their Nana, so Eric and I can go out to dinner alone for the first time in a long time.
On the blogging front, my newsletter makeover is complete! Let’s be honest, my newsletter was not cute, and I didn’t have the time to fix it myself. So, back in November, I hired Chloe Digital to do it for me. It’s taken longer than I had hoped, but, alas, it is finished! The next time you receive an email from me it will look very different. Now, it will look and feel like my blog and brand, and instead of going out whenever there is a new post, it will only go out once a week. Right now, it’s set for Sunday, but that may change.
On the outfit front, this is a cozy and casual weekend look that can be worn over and over, year after year. I’ve worn this tank more times than I can count, and this duster has seen a lot of wear over the last two years. I actually bought this for work when I was pregnant with my son. During the third trimester, as you can imagine, everything starts to fit snugly, including maternity work dresses. I would often wear a duster to cover up my backside. At the office, I think nothing should be too tight or “on display”, pregnancy bump excluded. 😉
