I am headed to the city tomorrow for my company’s big annual meeting. I love getting together with my team and hearing from leaders, it’s a great way to kick-off the year. I always come back smarter, better, and super motivated.
I’ll be a little quiet for the next few days on the blog and social media, because these meetings are so busy. I just looked at the agenda last night, and our dinner event tomorrow is at the NYSE! For those who don’t work in finance that stands for New York Stock Exchange. It will be my second time there. In 2010, when I worked for a different company, we did a tour during trading hours, which was pretty cool. This will be my first time there after-hours, and I’ll definitely try to snap some pics.
Anyway, here in Connecticut, it’s been wet and/or cold these last few days, and my new favorite thing to wear in cold weather is this Dudley Stephens turtleneck. I wrote a review of it in this post, so check that out if you want to know all the reason why I think it’s so great.
Here, I’ve styled it differently – tucked in and with a skirt. This skirt you’ve seen a few times now. I absolutely love any and everything tweed, and this skirt is the perfect winter wardrobe staple. Check out the other ways I’ve styled it here and here.
Have a great rest of your week, and I’ll see you soon!
