We’ve had a few cold days and nights here in Connecticut, but I can’t let go of my white shorts and pants just yet. In fact, last year I wore my white jeans all winter long. I used to be a firm believer in no white after Labor Day, but that rule is so unnecessary and outdated. From now on, you will see white pants in my wardrobe all year long.

A nice way to carry white shorts into the end of summer and fall is with a sweater over a gingham button-up, and I’ve replaced sandals with these new white sneaks. I’ve wanted a pair of casual white sneakers for awhile now, and I finally pulled the trigger and bought these. They are leather, not canvas, and so cute and comfortable.

And finally, this bag has been a favorite of mine for years, and it has held up remarkably well. It still looks new. I bought this when we were still living in Boston, and it was such a great bag for the city, because it holds a lot and is so easy to carry.  I highly recommend it, and now it comes in a few different colors, too.
