Well, this is longer overdue! I thought I would post a quick Instagram round-up for recent posts that weren’t associated with full blog write-ups.
This outfit is perfect for spring or summer. It is fun and colorful, but still simple. I bought this sweater a couple years ago, when chevron was the pattern. I know this pattern is a little past it’s expiration date, but I think I can squeeze a few more wears out of it. Especially, because, whenever I wear this sweater, I get so many compliments!
This outfit is one that can be worn from the office to drinks. The collared shirt, navy bi-stretch wool pants, and nude, patent leather flats are office appropriate, but the pink lipstick and tassel earrings are definitely not. To work, I would wear pearls, studs, or simpler statements earrings, and a lighter pink or more neutral lip tone. But, on your way out, all you have to do is make those couple, quick changes and ready for a night out! You could also switched out your flats for heels, like these.
This is another outfit that could be worn to work, or out on the town. The pants and flat are the same as the above outfit, but the this sleeveless, drapey top is a new staple in my closet that goes with so many different looks. This top is, technically, sleeveless, but it does extend out over the shoulders slightly. The gold chain necklace is light-weight and the perfect length.
This outfit is something I like to wear to work on a casual day. It’s simple, but not boring. I love wearing a scarf to really pull an outfit together. When you do this, it’s important to tie the whole outift together using the available colors. I wanted to wear a colorful sweater, so I made sure that the color I chose was represented in the scarf. But, you need to be careful not to over do it. If this scarf was mostly light pink, I wouldn’t have worn it with the scarf. It would have been too much.
