What a weekend! I hope you are enjoying your summer as much as I am. This weekend, we went on an evening kayak down Mystic River with with family and friends on Friday night. (If you’ve never been to Mystic, you must go. It is such a lovely New England shore town.) And, on Saturday, we went to the beach in Watch Hill with family, and we really had the perfect day weather-wise. (And just like Mystic, if you’ve never been, add it to you list.)
Also, funnily, as we were leaving Watch Hill Saturday afternoon, we saw an event being put together that looked very KJP/SarahKJP-esque, and sure enough, that’s exactly what it was. We saw Kiel and Sarah in the back of the building next to the Harbour House Inn. Then, we drove by the Ocean House, and there was a cute VW bug out front with their pup inside.
On the corporate front, I’ll be in Connecticut, Boston, and Syracuse. On Thursday, I have a golf tournament, which should be fun. I haven’t hit. a ball yet this year, so I really should try to do that at some point this week before I go and make a fool of myself.
On the outfit front, I am sharing this gorgeous rainbow tweed sheath from J.Crew. I wore this to a women’s dinner on Thursday, and I received so many compliments. If you’ve been following for awhile, you know that tweed is one of my favorite fabrics, especially when it’s used for a jacket or shift/sheath. This dress has quickly become one of my summer favorites, and this timeless style is one I can wear for years to come.
Thank you for following along, and have a great week!
